What we promise captains

Rank is never for sale

Every captain pays the same flat fee. Search order uses reviews, reliability and fit, never money paid to us.

Deposits land in your Stripe account

Anglers pay you through Stripe Connect. We never hold your trip money. Payout timing follows your own Stripe schedule.

No double bookings

Two-way sync with Google and Apple calendars. A slot locks the moment a request comes in.

Your customer, your contact

You get the angler's name, phone and email with every booking. Repeat customers book you direct on your own page.

Weather never hurts your rank

Cancel for weather and the angler reschedules or gets the deposit back. Your listing does not drop.

Talk to a person

A real human answers captain questions. Draft promise: hours to be set before launch.

Captain questions

How much does TideBook Fishing cost captains?

Founding Captains pay $39 a month, locked for life, and pay nothing until we send a first booking. The standard plan is $59 a month. Both are draft prices.

Do you take a commission?

No. You keep 100% of every booking. You pay your own card processing through Stripe.

Who holds the deposit?

You do. Deposits go straight to your own Stripe Connect account. We never touch trip money.

Can I keep my FishingBooker listing?

Yes. Keep it. Just never send FishingBooker inquiries to us. Their rules can cost you visibility or your account if you redirect their leads.

Can I list lower prices here than on FishingBooker?

Check your FishingBooker terms first. Their Best Price Guarantee asks captains to keep FishingBooker prices equal to or lower than their other online prices. We never ask you to undercut.

Can I pay to rank higher?

No. Nobody can. Every captain pays the same flat fee, and rank comes from reviews, reliability and fit.

What do I need to join?

Your USCG license, your FWC charter license number, proof of insurance and a Stripe account. We check credentials before you go live.
