How booking works

Short answer: Pick a trip, see the full price and rules, send a request, and the captain accepts it. Your deposit goes straight to the captain. You get the captain's phone and the exact dock right after.

Booking steps

  1. Choose a trip. Trip length, start time, guests, what is included.
  2. Review one clear total. Price, deposit today, balance on the dock, any extras like fuel. No booking fee.
  3. Read the rules in plain words. Cancel policy with exact dates and the weather rule.
  4. Pay the deposit. It goes straight to the captain's Stripe account.
  5. Captain accepts. Then it is confirmed. If the captain does not reply in time, the hold is released.
  6. Get the details. Captain phone, marina, dock and slip, what to bring. Reminder the day before.
  7. After the trip. Pay the balance on the dock and leave a review.

Our promises

See every dollar before you pay

Trip price, deposit, balance due on the dock, and any fuel or extra charge are shown on one line before checkout. No booking fee for anglers.

Weather rules up front

The captain makes the safety call. If the captain cancels for weather, you pick a new date or get your deposit back. The rule is shown before you pay.

Real confirmation

A trip is only confirmed when the captain accepts it. Listings that stop answering get paused, so you never book a ghost boat.

The boat you booked

Your booking names the boat and captain. Any swap needs your OK, or you get your deposit back.

Reviews we never hide

Only anglers who finished a trip can review. We do not filter or bury bad reviews. Captain cancellations show on the listing too.

Captain contact and exact dock

After you book you get the captain's phone and the marina, dock and slip. A reminder text goes out the day before.

A human on trip days

Call or text a real person if the boat is not where it should be. Draft promise: hours and number to be set before launch.
